About The Big Give

The Nonprofit Council has been proud to present Big Give, a 24-hour online giving day that helps connect South Central Texas nonprofits with new and existing donors. Since 2014 Big Give has helped organizations raise over $56 million from hundreds of thousands individual donors. Big Give is your chance to raise unrestricted funds and awareness for your agency.

Nonprofit Early Registration begins in May.  Regular Registration runs June - August.

Whether you've been with us since the beginning or you're joining us for the first time, there are many online resources on our Trainings page as well as the toolkit available to help you have a successful giving day. In addition, we will be offering a free in person training for all registered agencies at the beginning of August.

Big Give 2026 will return for our 12th anniversary of fundraising success on Wednesday September 23rd at 6 PM thru Thursday September 24th at 6 PM.  The early donation period will start on September 16th.

How can I support the Big Give?

Community partner sponsors are critical to the success of the Big Give. Sponsors make the Big Give possible by providing support to help underwrite the costs of the event. Additionally, our sponsors fund Match Minutes- offering fun incentives for donors to further benefit participating nonprofit organizations.

How can I further support nonprofits in my community?

In addition to giving during the Big Give, we encourage individuals to give to their favorite organizations year-round, as our region’s nonprofit organizations are an incredible force for good. Not only do they focus on eliminating the suffering caused by social problems, they also work – often in partnership with others – to prevent and eliminate the social problems that cause harm. Additionally, nonprofit organizations support the enrichment destinations and activities (such as museums, libraries, performing arts centers, parks and wild land preservation, community gatherings, festivals, etc.) we all enjoy as part of a vibrant community eco-system.
